With the passage of the NDAA and his use of executive orders, Obama has managed to bring about an inexorable slide to tyranny.  On March 16, 2012, he signed executive order 13603 about “National Defense Resources Preparedness”.  This act provides Obama with the authority to control food, water, production, material, and labor of almost unimaginable proportions.  This, of course, is not the first time it has been done.  Like it has been said, “There is nothing new under the sun.”

In 1933, just shortly after his election, Franklin D. Roosevelt declared a state of emergency.  His actions were covered by the NIRA (National Industrial Recovery Act), which essentially gave him the same scope of power that Obama now has.  In his inaugural address in January 1933, Roosevelt said, “If we are to go forward, we must move as a trained and loyal army willing to sacrifice for the good of common discipline, because without such discipline no progress is made, no leadership becomes effective.  We are, I know, ready and willing to submit our lives and property to such discipline, because it makes possible a leadership which aims at a larger good.  This I propose to offer, pledging that the larger purposes will bind upon us all as a sacred obligation and with a unity of duty hitherto evoked only in time of armed strife.  With this pledge taken, I assume unhesitatingly the leadership of this great army of our people dedicated to a disciplined attack upon our common problems.”

In the same year, Adolf Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany.  In many ways, Hitler and FDR faced similar problems with high unemployment, inflation, a lack of consumer confidence, a lack of industrial output, and a country in the depths of depression.  Hitler also managed to unite his countrymen into one unified people under his total control, just as Roosevelt and through executive order managed to command the entire nation’s economy.  In Germany, this act was called “The Enabling Act”, another name but essentially the same function.  For example, after the Enabling Act, Hitler declared public holidays for workers in all industries, while at the same time banning all workers’ unions.

Throughout much of the late 1920′s and into the late 1930′s, Mussolini in Italy enjoyed support and adulation from liberals and progressives in the USA.  So great was his support that an image resembling him was contained within a sculpture representing Atlas in Rockefeller Plaza.  He was being revered as having unified and put the labor force of Italy to work, creating a fast-growing Italian economy through collective means.

In January 2013, Obama in his second inaugural address said:  ”But we have always understood that when times change, so must we; that fidelity to our founding principles requires new responses to new challenges; that preserving our individual freedoms ultimately requires collective action.  For the American people can no more meet the demands of today’s world by acting alone than American soldiers could have met the forces of fascism or communism with muskets and militias.  No single person can train all the math and science teachers we’ll need to equip our children for the future, or build the roads and networks and research labs that will bring new jobs and businesses to our shores.  Now, more than ever, we must do these things together, as one nation and one people.”

While Obama, when he signed the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act), pledged he would never think about using the indefinite detention portion of the act upon American citizens, it would be legal under the provisions of the act.  He also signed the executive order as stated in the opening of this article and has yet to activate it, although as it stands it would be legal.  Remember, we are still under a state of emergency begun after Sept 11th by George W. Bush and extended by Obama.  Are we to awaken one morning after another attack (another Boston perhaps) and find this act also activated?

Remember (as many historians have found), under German law as it stood at the time, everything Hitler did was legal.  Are we also on that inexorable slide to tyranny?  Do we wait for these acts to come into play before we respond even to their existence?  Will it be too late if we do?  Will we as a country who under the Constitution are the true rulers of our nation allow this to happen?

Spain has just announced that their unemployment rate is over twenty seven percent, and they are developing extraordinary measures to combat the situation.  How long before the collapse of the dollar, or another oil embargo such as what happened in the 1970′s (or another war perhaps with Syria, Iraq, or North Korea) plunges the United States into such turmoil as Europe is now toiling against?  No one knows the fate of the European Union at the moment.  But are the foundations of the United States any more sound than that of Europe?  Or is it simply being held together by the perception of unity, the notion that our once-great nation could not be brought down by economic rules that have stood for all time?  The Obama administration seems to eschew the notion that the United States is an exceptional country.  Can a country that is not exceptional hope to avoid the rules that have applied to all other economies throughout all time?

Personally, after watching the martial law (whether declared or not) in Boston and the calls by Bloomberg and others for “modifying” our rights under present conditions, I think we have started the inexorable slide into tyranny.

I just viewed the short documentary called, “Monumental, In Search of America’s National Treasure” presented by Kirk Cameron.  This documentary is spot-on and needs to be seen yearly by everyone who intends to vote in 2014 or beyond.

“A massive granite Monument standing 81 feet tall honors the principals that the first English settlers to land in Plymouth, Massachusetts lived-by.  The National Monument to our Forefathers stands in a small State Park on Allerton Street, Plymouth, Massachusetts.”

“If you look at a picture from the brochure, the small people in the lower left give you an indication of the size of the massive and intricate Monument.  This is the largest solid-granite Monument in the United States, was dedicated in 1889 (30 years after its cornerstone was laid).  A dedication on the monument’s northeast face reads, “National Monument to the Forefathers, erected by a grateful people in remembrance of their labors, sacrifices, and sufferings for the cause of civil and religious liberty.”

“The monument features several figures depicting virtues the Pilgrims, known in Plymouth as the Forefathers, brought with them when they arrived in Massachusetts in 1620.  The largest figure, Faith, is 36 feet tall and weighs 180 tons by itself.  Faith, holding a Bible, stands atop a granite column facing toward Plymouth Harbor and England.  Her right hand is pointing toward ‘God in Heaven.’  The Forefather’s Faith had been tested by God on their trip through Holland and on to America on the Mayflower; their faith remained strong and they first leaned on God’s promises provided by His Holy Words (The King James Bible).”

“The eight-sided column features four buttresses with seated 15-foot-tall figures.  Moving counterclockwise from the monuments front, the north face features a representation of Morality, a woman holding a tablet bearing the Ten Commandments, “I am the Lord thy God.”  Niches in the base of the Morality’s throne honor Prophecy and Evangelism.  The west face depicts Law, a man holding a book with the Mayflower Pact (A document of the Civil Law Pact signed by all the Pilgrims and crew members on the Mayflower).  The Man of Law is flanked by smaller figures honoring Justice and Mercy, (‘All men are created equal and endowed by their creator with inalienable rights, among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.’).”

“The south face features Education, with a woman pointing to the Bible and other materials in her lap.  Nearly ninety percent of the education was performed by the women in the Colony.  Figures representing Wisdom and Youth flank the throne of Education.

The east face represents the throne of Liberty, a seated warrior with a sword in his right hand and a broken chain in his left hand.  He is flanked by figures which depicting the struggle between Peace and Tyranny, where Tyranny is defeated and peace results.  Along with the Figures, the monument’s buttresses also feature bas-relief sculpture depicting scenes of the departing Pilgrims from England, landing on the shores of Plymouth, and interacting with the Native Americans.

The sides of the monuments faces also list the names of the pilgrim settlers, and a quote from William Bradford, first Governor of the Colony (Almost 30 years).  The monument was designed primarily by Boston Sculptor, Hammatt Billings.”

This Monument highlights the meaning of Faith in a Sovereign God, Morality (Right vs. Wrong) represented by the Ten Commandments, Law of the Land (Civil and Religious Freedom), Education of children through reading and understanding the Bible, and finally Liberty through Security and Defense.

One more baseline statement is necessary before I go on.  Because I believe in “The God of the Bible,” I do not interpret “Tolerance” as in the current definition of the “Political Correctness” group; but believe that “Tolerance” means “accepting in love other humans but not accepting their sin.”  Today’s definition is “permit and praise human differences even if it is a “Sin” defined by God.”  Let us pray together:

“Our Lord Jesus, we are stunned at Your Passion and Your commitment to do the will of the Father and to love Your wayward brothers and sisters.  You did not run from the darkness. You did not hide from Your accusers.  You did not fade into obscurity.  You stepped with determination into the Darkness, willingly giving Yourself to whip and fist, to wood and nails.  We praise you, Gracious Lord for Your words of forgiveness and the invitation to paradise.   Forgive us O Lord that we have become too familiar with the Story of Death and Resurrection that we take Your suffering too lightly and receive Your grace too cheaply.  As we watch with You, while the darkness encroaches, let us remember what this journey means and count again the cost of love, divine love for sinners.  And now O Lord strengthen the Holy Spirit into the hearts of all who Pray, in Jesus Christ’s name,  Amen."

General Douglas MacArthur said,  “History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic decline.  There has been either a spiritual re-awakening to overcome the moral lapse, or a progressive deterioration leading to ultimate national disaster.  In this day of gathering storms, as moral deterioration of political power spreads its growing infection, it is essential that every spiritual force be mobilized to defend and preserve the religious base upon which this nation is founded; for it has been that base which has been the motivating impulse to our moral and national ecumenical growth.”

Dr. Erwin Lutzer is senior minister of Moody Memorial Church in Chicago said, “Christians must stand for the truth wherever God has planted them.  We have been intimidated because of the caricatures of the press.  We have been pictured as uneducated, puritanical, opinionated, and one-dimensional kooks.  We might complain that America is being stolen, but it may be more accurate to say that Christians are giving it away.  The day of the casual Christian is over.  No longer is it possible to drift along, hoping that no tough choices will have to be made.  At this point in American history, any moral and spiritual progress will have to be won at great cost.  The darker the night, the more important every candle becomes.  Never before in American history has it been so important to become an active part of a network of other believers for worship, encouragement, instruction and prayer.  We should not think it strange when we hear the press is biased against the Christian faith.  We should not think it strange when police arrest Christians who are using a public park for prayer.  We should not think it strange when the ACLU, with its strict stand against the intrusion of religion in schools, never the less is willing to defend the right of a high school to show ‘The Last Temptation of Christ’.”

He went on to say, “We must choose to fight these injustices, but let us do it with love, integrity, and a witness for the saving grace of Christ.  We must never fight fire with fire, (acting like the world), when in point of fact we are citizens of another world (in Christ).  Let us make sure that our fighting is done on our knees and with wet eyes.  True pilgrims (Christians) know that the battle is spiritual and not simply political or even moral.  Satan is not more powerful today than he has been in the past.  He is; however, more visible, especially when the church retreats from meaningful engagement with the world through active faith in God.”

2 Chron. 7: 14            “If my people, who are called by My Name,
                                    will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My Face,
                                    and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven,
                                    and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Reasons to Have a Bible Based Approach:

J. Vernon McGee said, “The Bible differs from other books, in that the Holy Spirit alone can open our minds and hearts to understand it.  The Bible can not be understood unless the Holy Spirit is the instructor.  And He wants to teach us, ‘…He will guide you into all truth’ (John 16:13).  When we open the Word of God we need to begin with the psalmist’s prayer: ‘Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in Your Laws’ (Psalms 119:18).  When the psalmist wrote these lines, he had in mind the Mosaic System, of course; but we widen that out to include the Sixty-six books of the Bible and pray today, ‘Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things out of Your Word’.”

Bishop Pollack said, “The Old Testament is summed up in the Word — Christ; the New Testament is summed up in the Word — Jesus; and the summary of the whole Bible is that --  Jesus is the Christ."

Dr. McGee also said, “Someone has put the idea of providing instructions for a Bible Study in a very brief, cogent manner: ‘The Bible—know it in your head; stow it in your heart; show it in your life; and sow it in the world’.  The Bible is probably the most maligned book that ever has been written. Yet it has ministered to millions around the world.  A book of this nature and with this tremendous impact upon the human family certainly deserves the intelligent consideration of men and women” (as well as nations and governments).  “Part of the problems we are having in the world today is that we have too few Christians at the top of business and government, too few who are acquainted with key words and their definitions in the Bible, and too few who evangelize."

Allen Coburn’s Predictions for 2013-2016, On January 31, 2013

President Obama, his Administration, and Congress will accomplish the following changes in The United States of America in his second term of office:

• He will not allow the USA to defend Israel against any Muslim attack.  This has already happened twice in his first term of office (The Lebanon and Gaza rocket attacks).  Now we wait for the Worldwide Nuclear Showdown with Iran – WAR?

• He will illegally take over rest of the Energy Industry (Oil & Gas Drilling and Processing including Fracking equal to 14% of the economy).  This started when he had the EPA regulate coal mining out of business as well as substantially increase the clean air and water regulations.  He will use the EPA to totally stop Fracking during the second term.  Now we wait for all the US Industries to be controlled by the Federal Government (In his first term he illegally took over the Automobile Industry equal to 12% of the economy, the Banking Industry through Law and Regulations equal to 14% of the economy, The Health Care Industry through Law and Regulation equal to 16% of the economy, the Home Mortgage Industry through Law [Fanny & Freddie] and Regulations equal to 16% of the economy, The Education Industry through Laws and Regulations equal to 8% of the economy, and he will eliminate the Insurance Industry through Laws and Regulations equal to 10% of the economy).  Now we wait for the Large Retail and Food Industries to give in to new regulations from the Federal Government.

• He will eliminate Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Speech when he allows “Sharia Law” (Muslim Law) to become officially protected in the USA.  He has started this by exempting all Muslims in the USA from paying the Health Care Insurance and Fines mandated in the Health Care Laws already on the books.  He was the first President to cancel the National Day of Prayer and to say that America is no longer a Christian nation.

• He will load the Supreme Court with more Liberals and Socialists.  This will result in continued legal abortion, amnesty, and changes in the constitution.

• He will ask for and obtain increases in the USA’s Debt Ceiling.  The Republican Party will fold again in May 2013 (See Comments Later).  He was the first president to have the Credit Rating of the Federal Government down-graded.

• He will ask for and obtain increases in taxes equaling at least 1%/year over the next four years

• .He will allow people (Citizens) to be arrested and/or killed without due process of Law.

I feel that it is time to speak out and call a “spade” a “spade.

I recently read an editorial article out of Tawas City, Michigan; I will summarize the Editorial: “What has America Become?” below:

“Has America become the land of the special interest and home of the double standard?

Let’s summarize:

• If we lie to congress, it’s a felony; if Congress lies to us it’s just politics.
• The government spends millions/year to rehabilitate criminals, but they do almost nothing for the victims.
• We do not burn books in America we just rewrite them.
• We are unable to close the Mexican Border, but have no problem protecting the 38th Parallel in Korea.
• When you protest against the present Administrations policies, you are a terrorist; but if you burn an American flag it’s your 1st Amendment Right.
• We can have pornography on TV or Internet, but do not put up a nativity scene during Christmas.
• We got rid of the Communist and Socialist threat by renaming it Modern Progressivism.
• If we dislike a black person, we’re racist; if a black person dislikes us, it’s their 1st Amendment Right.
• The Land of Opportunity is now the Land of the Handout.
• We have eliminated all criminals in America; we now call them sick people.
• We can use human fetus for medical research, but it’s wrong to use animals.
• We still have “Freedom of Speech,” but you have to be “Politically Correct”.
• We can kill an unborn child or any child at birth, but it’s wrong to kill a mass murderer.”

 
Dr. Charles Krauthammer has his M.D; is a licensed Lawyer is articulate, seasoned, and is a brilliant intellectual.  On August 22, 2010 he said this about President Obama:

·       He is a Very Intelligent, un-emotional, and a “Charismatic” individual.

·       He has an Unsatisfied Quest for Power, and came to Washington D.C. to fundamentally change the country, including dismantle capitalism.

·       Watch what he Does, not what he Says!  He is a revolutionary, who rules from the far left, and who can’t be straightforward with the public about his ambition which is to be first ruler over the New World Order.

·       His four main goals in the next four years are: to establish complete control of The US Energy Industry, US Public Education, US National Immigration System, and Continue Wealth Redistribution by the Federal Government through Taxes.

I substantially agree with Dr. Krauthammer.  I want to predict the state of the country at the end of his next four years of governing by President Obama and his Administration.

• President Obama is an Intelligent Muslim Illegal Immigrant.
• He is a Modern Progressive Marxist (Who’s Administration has already taken over 70+% of the Industries of the United States of America – Banking, Healthcare, Auto, Education, and Environment).
• He alone will be responsible for losing the last 3 Local Wars between the USA and Iraq, Afghanistan, & Libya; in 2014 he will be responsible for losing the entire Mid-East.
• He and his Administration have nearly doubled our National Debt from $9 Trillion to $16 Trillion in 4 years; this Over Spending will continue.
• President Obama intends to destroy the USA through his Plan for Redistribution of Wealth and Federal Government Control of all major Industries.”

“President Obama is Intelligent:

• He and the Senate do not pass Annual Budgets but allow “Continuing Resolutions” and an automatic increase in spending, against the wishes of the majority of USA citizens and the Republican House.
• He and the Congress are passing laws without reading them and not allowing USA citizens a review of the laws.
• He and his administration are not using funds as intended but distribute them to unions, companies who supported his election, and overseas to unfriendly countries.
• He and his administration have illegally taken over civilian industries without the approval by a majority of the USA citizen.
• He with the help of most mainline media does not tell the USA citizens the truth about these actions and so accomplishes his goals.
• He has a Nobel Peace Prize for just promising to stop wars (He has not stopped any war, only lost them).”

“President Obama is a Muslim:

• He writes in his first book that as a Muslim child he was enrolled in a Madrasa by his Muslim Father and Stepfather.
• He wrote in “Dreams of My Father” that he would stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift.
• He has traveled into many Muslim Countries without an attempt on his life when the Koran tells ever Muslim to kill all converts from Muslim to another religion (He claimed earlier to be a Christian).  So they know he is still a Muslim and is allowed under the Koran to lie to anyone, any populous, or any Country.
• His wife has never traveled to any of these Muslim countries because Sharia Law (Islam Law) says a Muslim’s wife is not to go to State Affairs.
• Notice that the Muslims are not required to buy insurance and will not be fined under the new Healthcare Law (ObamaCare).  President Obama’s Healthcare Law is the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim Diktat in the United States.  Dhimmitude within Islam is the method of controlling non-Muslim populations through taxation on the non-Muslims’ only; this is used as a coercive means of converting non-Muslims to Islam.”
• He has several powerful Muslims (Muslim Brotherhood) in his Administration at high levels.
• He has changed our Foreign Policy with respect to Israel.
• GOP concerns about Muslim Brotherhood infiltration at the highest levels of the Obama Administration recently got confirmation from an Egyptian magazine, Rose El-Youssef. 
• The article, which was translated into English by the Investigative Project on Terrorism, named six influential Muslims within and without the Obama Administration who it said turned the White House “from a position hostile to Islamic groups and organizations in the world to the largest and most important supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.”  The six named in the article are: Rashad Hussain, U.S. special envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference; Arif Alikhan, assistant secretary of Homeland Security for policy development; Eboo Patel, President Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships; Mohammed Elibiary, Homeland Security Advisory Council; Salam al-Marayati, co-founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council; and Imam Mohamed Magid, Islamic Society of North America president.
  
• Last June, five Republican members of Congress raised the mainstream media’s hackles and alarmed the Left by sending a letter to Homeland Security and heads of other agencies raising questions about infiltration of the Obama Administration by the Muslim Brotherhood, which is an umbrella group for Islamist terrorist groups around the world that has called for restoration of the Muslim caliphate and ultimately global dominance.  That letter was met with manufactured outrage and spin from the Left and RINOs in Congress, such as Sen. John McCain, who tried to spin the matter as a personal attack on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin, whose family has undisputed ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Questions about her security clearance were only a small section of the letter, though it was almost all the mainstream media discussed.  Republican congressman Louie Gohmert, one of the five signatories to the letter, has called for a full-scale investigation of Muslim Brotherhood influence, particularly in light of the Administration’s involvement in the “Arab Spring” uprisings across the Muslim world.
• President Obama has quietly been a cheerleader, fundraiser and often instigator of the rebellions that have overthrown governments in several countries, including Libya and Egypt, which have become his two most notorious mistakes.  He involved our military in the effort to overthrow Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhaffi without congressional approval, he gave repeated public support to the overthrow of a longtime U.S.-friendly regime in Egypt, and he is currently providing under-the-table financial and military aid to the “rebels” in Syria, one of the most open of secrets around.  The Administration’s  adventurism in Libya and elsewhere led directly to the disaster of Benghazi that killed four Americans and that subsequently was covered up by the Administration, which tried to blame the fatal events on a YouTube video rather than admit that the attack was aimed at a secret U.S. operation to smuggle arms to Turkey for the Syrian war.
• In Libya, Obama’s policies have armed the Muslim Brotherhood and its offshoots, leaving the country partially under the control of Islamist gangs that also influence the supposedly secular government.  In Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood overran the stirrings of democracy, electing one of their own to the presidency, taking over the military, nullifying the courts and forcing adoption of a constitution that enshrines most of the precepts of Sharia Law. Since the Brotherhood came to power in Egypt, Christians and Jews have been slaughtered, and rockets have been launched into Israel.  In Syria, the so-called rebels are controlled by U.S.-armed, al-Qaida-linked Islamist groups that are being used to topple the Assad government, which is allied with Russia and Iran, resulting in a confrontation between the Russians and NATO, which now has troops massed in Turkey to the north and Jordan to the south.

         So once again, the U.S. is the Muslim Brotherhood’s sugar daddy, but Muslim agents have apparently done a good
         job of leading the Administration astray. The Muslim Brotherhood has no friends, only fools it uses until they’re bled
         dry.”

“President Obama is an Illegal Immigrant:

• Barack Obama Sr. never has been a US citizen; he is a Kenya citizen and a professed Muslim.
• President Obama’s pregnant mother, a natural born US citizen, went to Kenya with his father just before his birth and a birth certificate of Barack’s birth is in Kenya, dated August 4, 1961.
• Barack’s mother then returned to Hawaii alone because her husband had no valid passport to return with her, and she then had the “Certificate of Identity” for President Obama filed in Hawaii; not a Certificate of Birth.
• Barack Obama was adapted by his Muslim, Indonesian stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, in the mid-60’s thereby taking Indonesian citizenship, thus forfeiting natural-born status to President Obama.
• President Obama has spent over $2 million to hide his identity, his records, his supporters, and his funding sources.”
• Released today, the transcript school indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship.  This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors have been seeking.

The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?  The Democratic driven Policies and Spending in the Financial Services and the Banking areas among many others produced the Crisis by dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from their management of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Government backed Mortgage Agencies.  By the way, the Bush Administration asked Congress several times to increase oversight rules to control Fannie & Freddie; starting as early as 2001 because they were financially risky for the US economy: however they asked Congress in earnest post 2006 to control these Mortgage giants (12 Times)!

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?  Senator OBAMA did.   And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie? President OBAMA, the Democrat Congress, Barney Franks, and Chris Dodd fought reform.   So when someone tries to blame Bush... REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007... THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER Both Houses of Congress!"  Bush may have been in the front seat of the car but the Democrats were in charge of the car, the gas pedal and the steering wheel: they were driving.  In the Figure on the next page, the Obama Legacy Larceny is shown clearly.

Budgets do not come from the White House, they come from the Congress and the Party that controls The House of Representation since January 2007 is the Democratic Party.  Furthermore, the democrats controlled the Budget Process for the 2008 & 2009 as well as the 2010 & 2011 Budget Processes.

At the end of 2007 (December), after two years of Freddie & Fanny providing low interest loans with minimum down payments to most who could not afford the loans, Congress including newly elected President Barack Obama forced President Bush to past the TARP Bill ($780B).  This action is part of the Obama Budget seen in the first RED deficit line in the Figure on the following Page untitled “Obama Larceny”.

For 2008 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep the government running until President Obama could take office.  Then, they passed a massive Omnibus Stimulus Spending Bill ($876B) to complete the 2009 Budget.  Let’s remember what the deficits looked like during that period.

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican Budgets.  That budget was the lowest in five years ($3.2B), and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending.   After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Senator Obama, who voted for those Budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited an increasing deficit from himself!  He inherited Democratic Policies of Bail-outs and larger and larger Budgets from himself!

In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is “I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since November 2008.”  These facts are true and must be widely publicized.”

“Welfare Spending Up 41 Percent under President Obama

In 1964, when President Lyndon Johnson declared a “war on poverty” in America, the poverty rate stood at around 19 percent.

Since then, total federal, state, and local spending on anti-poverty programs has amounted to $15 trillion, yet the poverty rate now stands at 15.1 percent, the highest level in nearly a decade

 “Clearly we are doing something wrong,” according to the Cato Institute, which has released a new policy analysis on welfare spending that calls the war on poverty a “failure.”

The federal government will spend more than $668 billion on anti-poverty programs this year, an increase of 41 percent or more than $193 billion since President Barack Obama took office. State and local government expenditures will amount to another $284 billion, bringing the total to nearly $1 trillion — far more than the $685 billion spent on defense.

Federal, state and local governments now spend $20,610 a year for every poor person in the United States, or $61,830 for each poor family of three.

“Given that the poverty line for that family is just $18,530, we should have theoretically wiped out poverty in America many times over,” writes Michael Tanner, director of health and welfare studies at the Cato Institute and author of “The Poverty of Welfare: Helping Others in Civil Society.”

Most welfare programs are means-tested programs providing cash, food, housing, medical care, or other benefits to low-income persons and families, or programs targeted at communities or disadvantaged groups, such as the homeless.  The federal government alone now funds 126 separate and often overlapping programs designed to fight poverty, Tanner points out.

There are 33 housing programs run by four different cabinet departments, 21 programs providing food or food-purchasing assistance administered by three different federal departments and one independent agency, and eight healthcare programs administered by five separate agencies within the Department of Health and Human Services.

The largest welfare program is Medicaid, which provides benefits to 49 million Americans and cost more than $228 billion last year, followed by the food stamps program, with 41 million participants and a price tag of nearly $72 billion. Other programs range from Federal Pell Grants ($41 billion) down to lower-cost programs such as Weatherization Assistance for Low Income Persons ($250 million) and the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program ($20 million).

At least 106 million Americans receive benefits from one or more of these programs. Including entitlements such as Social Security and Medicare and salaries for government employees, more than half of Americans now receive a substantial portion of their income from the government.”

The latest scandall is a British-owned scam -- LG was supposed to produce batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles.  These are the toys of the leftists who imagine that they will prove economical, attractive, and somehow practical for consumers in the real world.

Surprise!  Another boondoggle!  Another gross waste of your and my tax dollars -- and, since >40₵ of every dollar is borrowed or printed by the Federal Reserve out of "thin air", this is another gross generational theft from your grandchildren!  Shame on this out-of-control, insane government.  And shame on us in the electorate for enabling this insanity.

White House Senior adviser Dan Pfeiffer tweeted out this picture on Saturday morning after much skepticism about the president's claim that he participates in the sport "all the time".

Hmmm....   Notice anything about this photo?

Look closely.

Let's count the questionable aspects:

1.  No skeet shooter wears dark glasses.  Skeet shooting requires quick reactions and rapid target acquisition.  The disks are fast-moving against the sky and you don't want to obscure your view.  Most skeet shooters will wear amber lenses which tend to increase contrast, allowing them to pick up the flight more quickly.  Someone who shoots skeet "all the time" would not wear such glasses.

2.  But notice closely the front of the shotgun barrel.  What is that?  It's some kind of yellow plug or ring.....   That's not normal.  This really appears to be the type of yellow or red end cap that would appear on a prop or toy gun.  There are no plastic yellow flash suppressors or flash brakes for any type of long gun.  Plastic will not hold up to the heat and blast from a shotgun barrel.  Very strange, indeed, for an experienced skeet shooter!

3.  Whoops!  Wrong angle!  When you yell, "Pull!", the skeet disk is launched high into the air, simulating the path of a bird in flight.  Why is this man shooting parallel to the ground?  That's not how skeet shooting is conducted.  if he is aiming at a skeet target launched in normal trajectory, his weapon should be pointed upward to hit a flying target.  This just isn't right.....  This man is not shooting skeet!  Perhaps he is shooting at a target in his front field of fire.  Or perhaps he is simply firing for a photo op.

4.  What is that plume of smoke from the right side of the barrel, about four inches from the end of the barrel?  No rifle or shotgun -- or any other gun, for that matter -- has ever been designed to eject a portion of the propellant out the side of the barrel!  Not only would this affect the power of the weapon, it would tend to cause a leftward reaction, throwing the shooter's aim seriously off.  Now some have countered that a brake sends part of the muzzle flare to the side and back -- so this must be some kind of muzzle brake.  No.  First a brake is on the end of the barrel, and the portions of the flare would be ejected in four directions equally in order to prevent muzzle movement.  Also, brakes eject the flare rearward to counter the recoil of the weapon -- not directly to one side.  And the redirected muzzle flare would be from the brake on the end of the barrel -- not from four inches behind the end of the barrel to one side.  This is a very strange thing to see, indeed.  In fact, when has it ever been seen?

5.  Modern cartridges use "smokeless powder". OK, it's not entirely smokeless.  But it doesn't make this much smoke!  Is this guy using old-timey black powder?  Modern weapons and ammunition would produce a bright flare from the barrel, but far less smoke.  There is no bright flare here.  Only lots of smoke.  This just doesn't look right.  It looks like a prop gun with blank ammo designed to produce a smokey exhaust.

6.  A shotgun blast produces recoil.  The butt of the weapon is forced back into the shooter's shoulder.  Look carefully at this man's shoulder and shirtsleeves.  No movement. His shirtsleeves haven't budged at all.  What recoil?

But, finally, consider these two contradictory "news" releases.  Hmmm......

I leave it to you to decide for yourself.  But for me, this is just another daily instance of the Obama Administration lying blatantly.

Why would they lie so obviously and do such a terrible job of trying to "substantiate" their outright lies?

It's the same reason for all the other blatant lies.  They want the public to talk about this and not all the scandals, economic woes, foreign policy disasters, and outrages which really matter.  They yearn for us to spend time debating our little "conspiracy theories" and arguing about whether Obama really enjoys "skeet shooting all the time" or whether he is pretending as he tries to nullify the Second Amendment.

This is yet another distraction and re-direction technique that this Administration regularly employs.

And we just fell for it!  Look how long you and I have spent on this utter foolishness.  Can I have this last five minutes of my life back?

Dear Reader, please do not take your eye off the ball.  This government is inflicting massive damage on our Constitution, our economy, our national security, our culture, our children, their education, and everyone's future.

Everyone's been so focused -- and rightly so -- on Obama's refusal to send any help to our ambassador in Benghazi and on the coverup and string of lies which has issued forth from the Administration and media hacks ever since.  But no one is asking why the ambassador was in Benghazi in the first place.  No one is asking why he was at a CIA safehouse instead of a protected embassy compound.  No one is asking what's worth going this far to cover up?

Well, back on October 22 of this year, Glenn Beck exposed all of this.  I expected the whole scandal to erupt in the media because after so much had come to light, there was surely no way to maintain the coverup....  Well I was wrong.

If you have been wondering what was really going on that fomented this tragedy, Glenn will explain it to you in the video below.  This was a smuggling deal gone bad with a bunch of terrorists who were looking for a chance to "celebrate" the anniversary of 9/11 and to avenge Osama's execution.  It's no different than the Fast and Furious gunrunning into Mexico or any other covert government smuggling operation gone bad.

Like you, I have been watching the truth unfold about the killings in Libya, the government coverup, the linkages to Turkey and Syria, the gunrunning and weapons supply to Al Qaeda and affiliate terrorist groups by our own government, the deliberate sacrifice of our Ambassador and those who tried to protect him, the despicable treatment of the families of the slain....  This treasonous story -- and, yes, there is now no doubt that treason has been committed and is still underway at the very top levels of our current government -- is so outrageous and so demoralizing, I simply haven't been able to sit down and write anything.  I have been devastated and disgusted.

Yes, our government has been involved in gunrunning to the rebels in Syria to bring down the Syrian regime.  Ambassador Chris Stevens was over his head involved in supplying captured Libyan and US-supplied arms to Al Qaeda in Syria through Turkey.  On the night of the attack in Libya, Ambassador Stevens met with the Turkish Consul General in the Benghazi consulate to discuss and arrange shipments via a Turkish ship through a Turkish port and thence into Syria.  Ambassador Stevens was the same man who -- on Obama's orders -- earlier supplied weapons to the Libyan Al Qaeda rebels fighting to bring down Muammar Gaddafi's regime with American and NATO air support.  This is all treasonous.  The Obama regime has been giving full aid and comfort to sworn active and proven enemies of the United States.  And these same rebels turned on Ambassador Stevens the night of September 11, 2012, and murdered him in defiant proclamation of contempt for his and his bosses' double-dealing and dishonesty and to demonstrate Islamic strength against the United States (the "Great Satan") on the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks on the NY World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Washington.

To conceal this treason and deceit of the Administration, the regime concocted a tale of "spontaneous protests" caused by a laughable, amateur video which had not been seen my more than a few hundred people in this country and had gathered no worldwide exposure until publicized by the brazen lies of the White House and State Department.  The White House and State Department continued to lie about the Libyan attack for over two weeks!   They lied to the American public, to a complicit media, to Congress, and to the United Nations.  The reasons for the coverup and lies are clear:  (a) the nature of their treasonous actions would be devastating if it came to light during the elections and (b) it supported the efforts of the Islamic Brotherhood, with whom this Administration has allied itself, to undermine the First Amendment right to free speech by first discouraging "criticism" of Islam and then ultimately implementing "anti-blasphemy" laws.  The Obama Administration is in league with the enemies of the United States to weaken this nation, to subvert our Constitution, and to further the Islamic Caliphate.  The Administration is allied with the Islamic Brotherhood to support overthrow of existing regimes in the Middle East and has filled sensitive top government positions with members of the Islamic Brotherhood.

These people in government intentionally ignored pleas for two weeks before the attack for more reinforcements.  They had reports by the Ambassador himself that the consulate and he, himself, were being targeted.  The Administration/State Department had intelligence reports to the same effect.  They even had live real-time video from consulate and safe house cameras and from a camera-equipped drone flying overhead of the entire attack.  Yet they lied -- time after time after time.  Worse than that, they watched and listened in real time as the doomed Ambassador, marines and SEALs cried out for help and assistance.  They refused any help.  They let those people die a horrific death.  They calmly watched as they sacrificed these people to an agonizing slow death while they calmly plotted how best to cover it all up.  They are soulless.

People, this government is unconscionable and intolerable.  These lies are enough that criminal charges and prison time are warranted.  Perhaps even hanging for treason.  But, the lies from this government have flowed unceasingly.  Do not forget "Fast and Furious", the criminal gunrunning scandal into Mexico, for example!

The damage done by these abominable people to our nation economically, culturally, militarily, politically, and morally is so deep and widespread that the damage may not even be reversible.  We may -- we really may -- be witnessing the final sorry days of downfall of our once-great Republic.

People who voted for this abomination in 2008 had some excuses.  A treasonous media hid the reality, the background, the actual ideology of this man and his fellow henchmen from a willingly blinded electorate.  But now, after four years of damage and lies, those who vote for these demons again in 2012 have no excuse.  They do so willingly and, even if they do so in self-imposed ignorance, they do so with ample opportunity to see and understand what they do.  I can never forgive anyone who votes Democrat this time around.

Based on the lies of Global Warming/Climate Change, the Obama Administration has handed out huge sums of money during the so-called "Stimulus" programs and other grants to all kinds of "green" "renewable" energy companies.  The favorite boondoggles were in solar and wind power pipe dreams.  But the government largesse with taxpayers' money extended to poorly conceived electric cars and the batteries for them.

Obama and his fellow cronies liked to call these throwaways "investments".  He liked to portray these sham ventures as "research and development" into "tomorrow's technologies".  Truth is, for anyone who takes the time to research it, electric cars are older technology than gasoline powered vehicles.  They came first.  And in spite of all the improvements in motor, battery, and materials technology, the range, speed, reliability, and durability has not increased at all since the early 1900's.

And the overall efficiency when you consider the multiple power conversions (first at the power plant, then to battery storage, then to battery drain, then to mechanical power, then to kinetic motion) is far, far worse than using gasoline or natural gas.  Thus, the pollution is greater.  And the toxic wastes produced in the battery production and vehicle manufacture are greater than those for more familiar vehicles.  It's a boondoggle.

Same with solar.  No matter how much the solar cell technology improves, solar will never be viable for more than small portable power needs.  There is simply not enough energy in sunlight falling on a given area to ever be economically viable for power production.  And then, to be useful, once again you have to store the energy in banks of batteries -- and you're back to the efficiency problems and technology limitations of batteries.  Not to mention again that to manufacture solar cells generates far more pollution and toxic waste than batteries.

But the worst part of all this foolishness was that Obama's green energy program was really much more about rewarding crony supporters than anything else.  All of the companies upon which he has squandered our money were headed by friends, campaign bundlers, major contributors or political allies.  This was another redistributionist scheme, but this one benefitted his friends.

The following list is of the 34 "green energy" companies that were subsidized with Federal money and have either gone out of business, or are in bankruptcy and likely to go out of business.  Together, they represent a cool $80B of our money -- all for NOTHING!  No new techology.  No new jobs.  No progress toward energy independence.  No new products.  Only more national debt.  Only more deficit spending.  Only more squandered money.  Only more enriched crooks.

Over 1900 investigations have been launched, but nothing will come from them.  The political subterfuge is too deep.  The only thing we can do now is get more people to awaken and demand a stop to the lies and deceptions.  Demand a stop to the wasteful schemes.  Demand real and substantial cuts in real spending.  Demand government policies which encourage all forms of inexpensive energy without government interventions.  We can do it!

The performance and horror of this Administration are so uncannily like the abominable Carter Administration that I cannot understand the mentality of diehard Democrats.  Now it's even come to a repeat of the embassy invasions à la Tehran, 1979.  Only this time, no hostages were taken -- no, there were killings instead.  Killings without any remorse or sympathy from the tyrannical governments our Administration has supported and instigated.

So we have disgusting photos of our diplomat's and marines' bodies being dragged through the streets, but we won't have the sorry spectacle of an idiot president fumbling and bumbling through hostage negotiations and botched inept rescue efforts.  Burn in hell, Carter, and same for you, Obama!

I'm angry.  Much too angry to speak more about this.  What are you going to do about this people?!  If this November is anything less than a landslide rejection of the evil and malicious corrosive destruction now occupying the White House, I will never forgive the American population.

Sorry.....  But that's exactly how I feel.
