Obama campaigned hard for Clinton and his message was, "Project my legacy!" The people repudiated him and his legacy. He is not simply going to shrug, show Trump where the coffeemaker works and skip off to the golf course, smiling all the way. Don't be fooled by the Left again!
Do you honestly think that Barack Hussein Obama, of all people, is interested in simply handing over the reigns of power to the man who has vowed to undo everything he's done, and redo everything he's undone? "Unity" and "bipartisanship" always means we compromise; we capitulate.
Obama campaigned hard for Clinton and his message was, "Project my legacy!" The people repudiated him and his legacy. He is not simply going to shrug, show Trump where the coffeemaker works and skip off to the golf course, smiling all the way. Don't be fooled by the Left again! Telling us what Trump "is going to" do is like telling us how good the brownie in the vending machine will be because of the superlatives on its wrapper. We hope it's so good that that it shames what Auntie Reagan used to make; we'll be thrilled if it is half that good; and we'll be satisfied if it, at the very least, isn't terrible.
However, unless your name is Stan Nostradamus, prophetic claims are little more than wishful ("magical") thinking. It is possibile the vindictive Trump will sit in the oval office and vengefully wield the power of the office like a club. He may try to expand the extra-executive power that the corrupt and feckless Congress (both parties) allowed Obama to initiate, and act as The Boss wherever and whenever he chooses (separation of powers be damed). The Framers warned us this would happen. George Washington was towering exception to the nature of Man. The point? We must now all be Missourians and resolutely tell President Trump, "Show me." We must stay vigilant. We must actively hold Hudson, Burr, Tillis AND our state politicians accountable for holding the President accountable and confined within the limits of his constitutional authority. Reform of our criminal justice system is becoming a hot topic in conservative circles, primarily with more libertarian thinkers. Would-be reformers are not a monolithic group with a single set of ideas and goals. Reform ideas include eliminating "mandatory minimum-sentencing," which allows no leeway for judges to evaluate each case, individually, and make allowances for exceptional ones; replacing prison sentencing with intensive drug and alcohol treatment in less expensive and less oppressive settings; decriminalizing behavior that involves only consenting adults; etc. Daily Haymaker Article: Moore County school officials address religious liberty concerns
Whether you're a Christian, adherent to some other religion or a non-religious defender of liberty as protected by the US constitution, read this with a critical mind and tell the rest of us what you think. Who's right and wrong? Is there a little of both? by Matt Horsley
The purpose of this recurring column is to identify problems that we need to address (especially at the local and state levels), discuss solutions and mobilize to execute them. A discussion will only exist if you participate by clicking the “Comment” link at the bottom of the article. To set the stage for future columns, we’re starting big by assessing where we are versus where we started—the Tax Day Rally in June 2009.

Admittedly, this is not a scientific study and "results will vary," but it does demonstrate the lies repeated by the mag capacity proponents. The sheriff points out that these laws cannot override the Law of Unintended Consequences. Therefore, law breakers (i.e., those who break/violate/disregard laws; aka scofflaws) will continue to use "high capacity" magazines while law abiding citizens would be handicapped with low capacity mags. That is, as with every "gun control" law, magazine capacity laws heavily impact those who obey laws but only minimally impact criminals.
