You will not find a better, easier to understand lecture series on the geography and history of the region. Mr. Simon is adept at presenting a very complex subject in a very understandable fashion. He begins in the first lecture below, by explaining the geography of the area and how the geography determined its crucial role in thousands of years of history. Ronny Simon is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Israel Defense Forces, Chief Tour Guide for Sar-El Tours, and Biblical Historian. He has written several books and produced several CDs and DVDs of lectures and educational material on the history of the Middle East. He is an expert on the Torah and Jewish religious documents, the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, and the Koran & other books of Islam. He can quote from all.
